For Ashford Joy 1 And Joy 2 Spinning Wheel Stretchy Grippy Polycord Drive Band

My 3mm diameter/thick, clear or orange, stretchy, grippy, polycord drive bands are ideal as direct compatible replacements for both the Ashford Joy 1 and Joy 2 spinning wheels, and the two ends are already fused together to create a completed circular drive band.

If you are unsure which model Joy wheel you have, the older Joy 1 model has a wooden grab handle at the top.

The drive bands cost the same price of £10.95 each (plus postage):

For Joy 1 (the model with the grab handle at the top): circumference/length of 1325mm (132.5cm) 3mm diameter/thick

For Joy 2 (the model WITHOUT the grab handle at the top): circumference/length of 1370mm (137cm) 3mm diameter/thick

To fit the drive band, some disassembly of the spinning wheel will be required using a cross-head (Phillips) screwdriver. I provide you with a printed sheet containing the URL link and QR code to the Ashford website to be able to download the Assembly Guide in PDF format for the Joy 1 wheel, the last page of which has detailed diagrammatic instructions which you may find helpful for replacing the drive band, identical for both the Joy 1 and the Joy 2.

Instead of dismantling the spinning wheel, you may prefer to work with an unjoined length of polycord, feeding it around the assembled wheel, and then fusing the ends together yourself in-situ - See my listing 'Spinning Wheel Stretchy Grippy Polycord Drive Band For Ashford Kromski And More'.

One pre-joined, 3mm diameter/thick clear or orange, stretchy, grippy, polycord drive band, compatible with the Ashford Joy 1 and Joy 2 spinning wheels (choose from either the Joy 1 or Joy 2, clear or orange options, when making your purchase).

A printed sheet containing the URL link and QR code to the Ashford website to be able to download the Assembly Guide in PDF format for the Joy 1 wheel (being the same instructions for the Joy 2).

Postage charge and combined postage per order:

I charge £1.90 Royal Mail Second Class (with a First Class option available at checkout for £2.25), regardless of how many items or combination of items that there are in that single order. I monitor the situation very carefully, and if I discover that you have indeed paid more than £1.90 (or £2.25) per order, then I promise to refund the difference when I process your order.
