Compatible with most Louet Spinning Wheels using Irish Tension, specifically the S10C (Irish Tension version only), S10 original, S15, S17, S51, S60, S70, S71, S75, S76, S77 and the S90 (original and Limited Edition). NOT suitable for the S11 Julia, S45, S87, S95 Victoria nor the S96 Victoria.

Includes a real leather strap and retaining screw, tensioning barrel nut and bolt, a pair of screw eyes, and comprehensive, printed fitting instructions.

All of the components in my kits (with the exception of the leather strap) are made of metal, which should last a lifetime. Also, I have reinforced the two holes in the leather strap with metal grommets/eyelets which again, should last for many years.

NB. These Irish Tension brake band kits are not made by Louet, but have been produced here in south Wales, UK.

You will receive:

One real leather strap, approximately 128mm long, 15mm wide, and 3.7mm thick, fitted with a 5mm (hole) metal grommet/eyelet for the retaining screw, and a 6mm (hole) grommet/eyelet for the tensioning bolt. N.B. The metal grommets/eyelets will either be brass-plated, gun metal or black in colour, depending on availability. They will, however, be a matching, metal pair.

One M6 Pan Head, stainless steel, slotted, threaded tensioning bolt, 65mm long (plus the 11.6mm wide, 3.6mm thick head), 6mm wide, with a standard metric coarse thread (1mm pitch).

One 20mm long, 10mm wide, Zinc-plated, tensioning barrel nut, for use with thumb and forefinger, with an internal, standard metric coarse thread (1mm pitch).

A pair of 25mm long (overall length), 2.2mm thick Zinc-plated screw eyes, with 7mm eyelets.

One stainless steel, PAN cross-head (Pozidrive) strap retaining screw, 19mm long, 2.9mm wide.
