For Lendrum Plying Head Jumbo Spinning Wheel Drive Band Stretchy Grippy Polycord

My clear, orange or black, stretchy, grippy, polycord PLYING drive bands are ideal as direct compatible replacements for the single- or double-treadle Lendrum upright spinning wheel (but not the Lendrum Saxony), when fitted out with the Plying Head/Jumbo Flyer combination, and the two ends are already fused together to create a completed circular drive band (as Lendrum originals are). NB. These particular drive bands are known as Plying drive bands, but I do also supply drive bands compatible with the Lendrum Standard/Regular drive bands, for use with either the Regular Head (equipped with either the Regular, Fast or Super-Fast Flyer) or for the Quill Head - please see my other listing “Spinning Wheel Stretchy Grippy Polycord Drive Band For Lendrum Regular Standard”.

NB. The black drive band has a barely noticeable, 14mm long manufacturers inscription of tiny grey characters located every 30cm along one side (please see photo).

Replacing the drive band is a very simple process, and the easiest way is to use a small screwdriver to prise off the E-Clip at the top of the footman where it connects to the drive wheel's hub. I also supply you with a new 1/4" replacement E-Clip, in case you lose or damage the one that you've removed. Refit either the original or new E-Clip after replacing the drive band. There are a number of videos on YouTube that show this entire procedure clearly.
