For Ashford 2 x Spinning Wheel Leather Footman To Treadle Conrod Connectors

Direct compatible replacements for many models of Ashford spinning wheel, particularly those made prior to the mid-1980's. They may also fit a number of other makes of spinning wheel. NB. These are the same length, width and thickness as original Ashford-branded leather treadle connectors.

Two leather connectors complete with four screws for just £3.95 (plus postage). Please note that I cannot guarantee that the screws that I supply will work perfectly with your spinning wheel.

NB. If you find that the leather connectors are a bit tight to fit, then apply either a small amount of soap, candle wax or Vaseline to the leather to aid fitting.

NB. These treadle connectors are not made by Ashford, but have been produced here in south Wales, UK. They are made from medium-firm, vegetable-tanned, full-grain back leather, and are very strong and durable. If left untreated, this leather will develop a beautiful patina and will darken over time.
